Same sitituation as a number of posts ago...

we hit a 1 percent volitility band at 1297 and a weekly pivot... on poor upVol - dnVol difference (no commitment) ...

at 1% percent volitility band you have 68 percent chance of retracing to the mean and only 32 percent chance of moving forward... and on low upVol dnVol diff the percentages way even heavier for a retracement...

divergences are ODDS plays... to get in and these are ODDS plays to exit out...

look, one has to consider the price level at the time of making a call and how close %age wise your estimate was in line from initial level.
