Quote from romik:

Did you see an A class BRD on 5 min?

yes it occurred at the price of 1267.00-- and of course a class B is occurring on the hourly with the 1269 double top. --240 still not bearish as of yet.

yes you are correct, but looking at the higher 2nd peak in the price, the underlying RSI and HIST 2nd peaks already registered lower highs, so it was possible to take that trade @ 68-69 as both HIST and RSI confirmed a possibility of a BRD completion. Though the range is narrow at the time of formation and that's why I see your point B1.

Using the smaller profit targets associated with the 5 minute when it's against the larger frames would have proven profitable. :)

Now the question becomes whether to take the hourly class B BRD or wait it out until the 240. My choice for now anyway is to wait out the 240.

Do you mean selling your longs then??

Not yet, I am trading the longer frame which has not turned bearish yet in my view. Today is a classic case of different time frame trading. As I have mentioned before, one man's breakout is another man's pullback and that's what we have going on at the moment. :)

Could you possibly post a screenshot, because I was under the impression that you consider B class to have 2 troughs at same level, did I misunderstand you?

I consider class B to be anytime the price makes a double top or double bottom and the indicator makes a second lower peak or second higher trough.
