I am going to trail a stop today. I am over the 10 points here per contract, but I will trail and see if it will run.

Sosa beautiful play. You obviously suspected something was cooking. You seem to concentrate on the morning and done by midday. Is this to do the Topix at night?

I have a question on trading the Topix what broker are you using and recommend.

The CPI was released at 730am CT. The 0.3% core rate was larger than expected, leading the market to think that Bernanke will not slow down yet.

Thanks JB. I just belive that the market positions itself to make maximum use of any news (maximum being emphasized). Knowing when and how to read this is the key.

My basis for watching Europe was to see if they could pentrate thru the 50 day. They couldn't, not even close in my judgment. I waited all nite for Europe to show me some strength. This was my entry point @ 1299.50, never took a tick of heat which kept me in the trade and allowed me to hold. I use tradestation for all Futures trades but I trade stocks prop.

I agree with this. The trading and positioning that is done by the pros is done prior to moves. The positioning can be seen in the technicals.
 
I may not post a lot today --I'm busy watching some Aussie shorts that I have been building up overnight. I'll try to post when I exit the ES. The Aussie short looks like it may have legs here.

Agreed. And I think the market often gives you an inkling of what that news will be.
