I'm done shorting today. Don't want to get greedy like yesterday.
Its too close to that 2nd level support pivot. S&P nice move today, dow fairly stable. Have a good day...

Good cover and nice 2 pointer...

Cheers, just got back, looks like didn't miss much, I would say lucky cover in a way. Did you see 15.25-15.30 on 5 min chart nice long opportunity for 2 points? 3 trades today all using 12/4 MA crossovers with probably a better than average result I would say (3 consecutive positive trades), I did expect 2 losses 1 win using a multiplier position size. I believe the most important aspect is the time of day to enter these trades and slope of the 4 MA on 5 min bars following the xover. Will do the same tomorrow.

EDIT: George, if you are here, thank you.

Late day rallies...... got to watch out for them. Looks like you covered at the right time lol...

09.75 level was broken nicely... nice short.

Do not get too greedy since those late day rallies can come from nowhere :)

That's exactly what kept going through my mind after you posted that reminder, thanks, and also the fact that we ran out of dipers for the baby :D had to prioritorise

I am attaching a 5 minute chart of ESM6 with some annotations, the last example was not a trade, as I have been away, otherwise it would have been.

Comments welcome.

Porgie, not certain I could do it like that on daily basis.
If I was to hazard a guess/call for tomorrow though, it would be roughly the same--an attack to the upside on the 20 hour MA with a better tan even chance to cross a bit and touch the upper BB and then a selloff later Tuesday or Wednesday. However, I do understand what you are saying which is to trade what you see or that the system tells you and I do try to do that.

I don't know what to say guys--so far it's been pretty close to this. Enough horn tooting for now.

Romik, are you waiting for a particular separation from the 12 before initiating?

b1b2........you are going to toot that horn til the cows come home, eh? seriously when you do something correct in this business we have to take special note of that, and sharing with peers is a kind thing to do......not horn tooting, but sharing the facts so all can benefit potentially down the road maybe as your confidence builds and others confidence grows in what you have to say, backed up by the posts you have on record to prove what you have done...........excellent in my opinion.........

no hardcore rules, observation of the 3 circles should lead you to a conclusion on roughly why and when there might be a well timed entry for you. I do wait for initial bar to close, even if 4 MA pulls away strongly, which has to happen on higher volume seen on 1-3 min charts volume bars, and almost takes a vertical dive. The next 5 min period bar is my entry point.
