Thursday's positions were good

First trade 1.75 pt loser
second trade 5 pt winner ( 2 units under the adding system when PNL below zero) so profit of 10 points.
3rd trade 3.25 pt winner
4th trade .75 pt winner


Setting a profit target of 10 points as I discussed earlier would have had the second trade as a 20 pt winner instead of 10 pts total. Today, I will add the 10 point profit target to the mix. I may need to make it smaller than that in the future, but I'll start there.

I also thought there would be afternoon selloff. Perhaps afternoon movements are just smaller and should be avoided.

They do tend to be smaller, usually ;
and related to that ,takes time for a big trend to develop.

Derivative daytraders can usually find a worthwhile afternoon move/moves;
especially with profit targets.

Also its strange the way when any one mentions a better than average pattern like this , sometimes the day it gets mentioned ,
opposite happens

yes i agree although I am not certain that the opposite happened yesterday--it was just chop.

& I still remember the day mentioned how seldom last half hour hardly ever makes nice moves.

Next day, was a 2 or 3 point VERY beautiful orderly trend move last half hour;
nothing quite like market to help keep humble. That's a notable move for last 30 minutes
