I'm quitting.

Thank you to all the anal, sanctimonious, traders who have taught me so very much.

Osorico. Osorico. Osorico. *shaking my head*

You should know better than to come into the "JimmyJam's Real-time Calls" thread and try to pass off your knowledge as worthwhile to other traders.

Good luck to you Sir!

B1S2: Thanks for letting me into your journal. Good luck to you.

Apex: The SniperTrade idea is a good one. Good luck to you.
Boy O-So-Rico,

A difference of opinion on the value of "trading the news" and the importance of being able to state your case (via Live Calls, the acid test of whether you're right or whether your wrong, regardless of what traders on this board think of them) and you high-tail it out of here?

Shesh!, I hope you're a little more thick-skinned when it comes to your trading.

I'm exact in my beliefs because that's what the market requires, exactness and the conviction of your beliefs in your trading methodology. That you took it personal is your problem, not mine.

'81 packer didn't take it personally when I stated - MHO - that he hadn't made the best R:R trade-off (in fact of the matter, we were both surprised when the market dropped through the floor, not the least of which on my end the screens were green and less than 3 minutes later, BLAM!).

2006 didn't take it personally when I said "everything's red - I'm looking to sell the retracement". Hell no, he just said "Yeah, you and 1/2 of Wall Street, just you wait and see.", and the market proved him right, and I was happy for his success.

Why?

Because, I just learned something else. :D

We're here to learn my friend, we're here to learn, if you think something is valid, there's nothing like proving it (or would you rather throw money at an untested concept)?

Good trading,

Jimmy Jam

Interestingly enough it was romik (hope he's having a great time) and his open and obvious way-ahead-of-time Live Call using a form of what O-so-rico talked about here before, Cycle Analysis of Multiple Indicies, that pointed out to me something that I've been seeing over-and-over again.

It's all in the Price Action … period.

Maybe Osorico is a better conceptualist than a trader. That's fine, I'm a better analyst than a trader, but by using a consistent approach, I hope to continue to elevate the trading.

At least that's my PLAN, MDT, what's yours?

Good trading,

Jimmy Jam

Thanks P!

Time for some ass kissing LOL

Why I favour Apex's method, is not because it can find key zones with pristine ability (although he has to be applauded for it), but because of the reason why he can achieve these results. And that is initiating positions prior to market making turns. I am certain that most will either trade a breakout or join action once it starts happening after certain confirmations have taken place & by doing so they obviously risk being taken out within the noise, unless they adjust stops according to B1S2 methods. I gotta go out now, but will be willing to continue this later on.

My plan? Well, I'll keep that to myself. You keep doing what you do...it seems to be working well for you.

Thanks buddy... Congrats on the 3 years as well. You are exactly on point with my methodology of trading. I just cant join the crowd... I always have to be in at the high tick or low tick in order for me to trade in the zone. I know of some reasons why but its just basically my psychology and that is why I trade the way I do.

Osorico... good luck in your future endeavors.

For today... Still looking for another move down to test the 1430-1431 area. It would be nice to see it tested early in the morning. I will be getting long there and at 1425-1427. I will be looking for a move up 1464 area for first profit target and the 1480 area for a second profit target. These zones can pretty much be traded with a 2 point stop. This is a great scenario for a risk 2 to make 30-60 scenario at a minimum with a high probability of occuring.

If this market just blasts off we could easily have a trend day to the upside. I would expect this tomorrow, rather then today. If it does I will not chase it and instead will be patient for the top. If we get a confirmed breakout below 1427, it would be serious damage to the bullish structure and I would expect the lows to be tested at a minimum. The probabilities of this happening are very low.

Good Trading...
-Apex
