Here are the support zones for the es below the market today.

I especially like the the second one at 1452.50-1453.50.

1455.50-1457 is fairly strong though and will probably retest the highs if it gets down there.

Thanks for the comment RusselDayTrade, definately was a decent trade, usually dont like to take that much heat though.. It was just a matter of them washing out the weak longs and it got a bit overextended in the morning.

The russel is a beast, but when you get it down the rewards are huge. That trade resulted to an equivalent of 8pts on the ES per contract, thats twice the daily range on the ES today.

My first es support zone held the market beautifully and retested highs as expected and stated before the open.

Here is the aftermath...

Most likely tomorrow will be even slower tomorrow than today. It would be a good idea to start with an early weekend, as most traders have already.

nq intraday was just like all others...beautiful....options expiry bernanke just not a factor for my traders....go figger....many many positive points today. up the cars major stuff.......sometimes we talk ourselves into losing....before we see the trades......that is called anticipation and mind bias...it is killing the forum posters that i read here.......

Romik does not want to admit that half of Germany (Saxony) settled in Russia during the crusades. :)

I am not too hot on history, but I thought Russians were invaded by the Mongolians for a long period of time, we have beaten the Saxon's ass (Alexander Nevsky) and if anything we've adjusted their blood line a bit :)

That is also true, I guess we are all a pretty mixed up bunch of genes.

All this talk about Russia and this 24 degree weather make me want to break out the grey goose.

:)

Anyone watching afterhours ?

The downside size is unusual for this early.
