Recent highs are 1440 and 1444 yes. One thing to note:I entered at 1415.00 but acknowledged that I thought it was a poor entry and the entry should have been taken at 1433.75. This is why I added a position above 1430.
 
the guys with the vast experience other markets are the guys who usually can't whip emini daytrading...almost always...can't clear the minds of the old stuff

Are you saying that you shorted at 1415? Have you held the trade all the way to 1431? Added to your position @1431?
I don't understand the logic, care to post a chart please, to show where you saw the short trade?
As I write, sell and buy volume is evenly balanced, we might go sideways for a bit before take off again.
 
what you all should have done....is buy at todays low tick.....obvious really.....look at the price action.........go with the trend....if there is a trend.....

yes. I shorted at 1415.00 and have held til now. Reaction highs have not been violated yet. Chart was posted a few pages back. I made the trade to provide a segue for me to get back to strictly position and swing trading. I didn't care what the entry was, I just wanted to get back to what I feel I do best. Thus I took a small position and will get out at the appropriate time. 1433.75 would just be underwater by 1 point right now, so my system is still very valid.--I am down of course roughly 20 points right now.
