If your move hits 2 Standard Dev Bollinger band of a 21 period mAvg of your time period (5 min, 15 min, 60 min) scale out half... <b>scale BACK in</b> if the market retraces back to 1 St Dev and the Grail move is still viable...

2 St Dev move of your time period has 95% odds in favor of reversal either short term or a complete pivot turn.....

Trades initiated on the 15 need to be exited on the 15.
Or you could trade around the position on the 5, but all positions are to be exited on the same frame they were entered on.

I don't think there is one answer to that question. In an effort to keep it as simple as possible I use 5 for entry and exit.

If I may suggest something here, take it or leave it. You trading of a 5 min chart? I believe you covered @ 68.25 seeing a possible long grail, though did not go Long there. You know the trailing could have been used there above 69.75, less points, but you could bank potentially a lot more if price slides further.

I had to reverse for a Long @ 12pm

Was Long on 5 since 12pm 1368.50, now reversed for short as Long grail was busted, short 1367.25
