Quote from ggoyal:

calm down boy. it was a just a one day rally. i am not saying its a bull or bear market. im just saying its too soon to call it a bull market. as far as i am concerned, i am still playing it as a bear market. but i would never go as far as calling for a depression or what not.

son, let me educate you.

we have already rallied 25% off the lows and so, by definition we are already in a Bull Market (notice the capital letters).

until we break that 835 low, it is and will remain a Bull Market.

don't forget
obama's welfare state...tax plan... that will kill any bull to stick its head out.
As a hardcore dem, i'm gonna go out on all four limbs and say you and ure buddies at CNBC are full of crap. At this moment, we're way beyond and, frankly, sick and tired of that old redistributionist rhetoric: "All for the rich first, then rich for the poor!"

Quote from Pekelo:

I use SMA 9 and it is around 1040 for the SPX. I underestimated a bit yesterday...We might overshot it, but if we close below it, I expect a nice red day tomorrow...

Although the SMA moved lower after the open (I didn't take that into account), the high for it was 1044, and right now it is hoovering slightly in the red, just below the SMA.
The NDX is a completely different picture. It went already over the SMA yesterday and now pulled back to it, sitting there trying to decide which way to go...

This is NOT a bull market. ES is still trading well below the 200ma on all major timeframes. Market will collapse as soon as all the talking heads go away after the election.
