80-82 is potential resistance.

floor trader pivots: 1280.25= RTH R2 for today.

Would appreciate any info on how to calculate floor trader pivots - have found a post saying that they are based on "AH" - what is AH? Thanks

Isn't that the same as globex? Would appreciate an explanation of how to calculate the pivots that members of this thread are using or do members use different methods?

If 1269.00 is taken out, then it would be correct to start looking long again. If no buy signal presents itself, then the sidelines would be fine. It's best to trade all in, all out over the long haul to reap the best rewards. A more aggressive stop out policy removes the need for scaling out. Talk to everyone again soon.:)

Before 2007, most gaps that are not filled in the morning are not filled in the afternoon.

That's why many people will keep buying the dips today, waiting for break out to the upside by 2 pm.
