OK, I sold half of my longs at 1342.00. Call me nervous. Stop on the other half remains at 1331.75. About a 5 point profit on that half...equal to the 5 point risk on the remaining half.

Tommy, by giant moves wait until you see clear end of move formation and it start falling, otherwise yo are just short fuel.

Nah, I pick top-ticks and bottom-ticks and have tiny stops, thats what I do and it works more than it doesn't (otherwise I wouldn't continue doing it). If you wait for "a clear end" you already missed a good entry and now your stop needs to be 3 times as big. I don't regret either of the trades I posted here... except for not putting my 1987.00 stop at 1987.25... bought the damn top tick instead of covering around 78.

Call me a sentimental old fool, but is the RTH open and the RTH midpoint trying to send us all a message.

What is that message and what will you be doing about it?

By the way, ES was dragged kicking and screaming by the NQ. The A/D line did not turn positive...yet. And we've got both banks and oils pressuring the ES. Couple that with what was probably too large of a position for a contra-trend move led to my selling half.

Profit target: 1335

Trade disregarded. We'll just say that he is bearish at the moment with no trade in place.:)

I like how you're laying down the law B1S2 :D

In this global market, nobody here is gunning for your lots.... posting stops makes no difference
