That's crazy - i would never call that. I have no need to pick the turns.
I would rather wait for the market to give me an opportunity to go with the direction. Price action, the tape and volume will dictate in which direction to go.
From being a counter-trader for awhile i realised it is far easier too simply get in on the middle or birth of a new trend.
However, if you want to pick turns and shorter term direction please feel free to do so - I'm sure a lot of people are really good at that - just not my style.
on a 5 min it looks like a trend day but on 1 min they.ve crossed over several times ,6/11 was easier to read becuase it was 400 points, scratch that satch, your right ,my 1 min is a percentage chart and 5 is a pure volum chartQuote from satchel:
ammo, what uvo/dvol are you watching to say not a trend day. nyse u/d is trending. sim to 6/11.
just curious.

Mins,
I like what you said in your third paragraph and I hope it works for you on a consistent basis. Please share with us some of your trades in realtime. I always learn from anyone who employs a successful and consistent strategy. Peace.

Chuck,
Why stop placement at 1341? It doesn't seem like your stop was far enough outside of the noise. I am long (you got a better price then me) but you seem to be getting stopped out too much.
edit: I just got stopped out on my trade as well.
by the way vertigo, this mp shape today is b which is bearish for tommorrow unless we go lower today and put a tail on it,thats why i'm looking for a break to the downside,Quote from ammo:
