What? You want analysis and thoughtful discussion that might be used to improved trading skills? Blasphamy. Let's have some more real time scalp trades and bring back Steve46 so JJ can continue filling up this thread.

:p

I liked Steve--a little intense, but I like intense.

Besides which, I've offered my trading record, trading real money, for today to Buy1Sell2. Let's see if Mandelbrot will do the same.
Fake blotters are all the rage.

They're easy as hell to cook up (seen a few of 'em myself).

But if you want to send your record to B1S2 (uh, serious much? :p ) go right ahead goof ball, knock yourself out!!! :D

Oh man, why you bust'in on me like that! :D

It was those five or ten other guys, not me. :)

I must say, you guys aren't being too grateful after I gave you a heads up on the drop.

Man oh man, where would my trading be without the ES Journal ... heh! :D

Quote from Leonidas:

It's always simple, and yet always so complex. That's why I love it.
... now that sounds like some flim-flamming, flaming bullshit that a douchebag like Leonidas would say ... right up there with "I see support coming in (and five minutes later) I've been short all day from the Open" :p

LOL ... OL some more! :D :D :D

You gave a heads-up? LOLOL. Yeah, you made a couple of paper trades because you were "done" for the day. Impressive!

Oddly enough, I give far more credence to what is said and the logic behind the statement than I do to Poster's trades.

The bars (charts) are fractal by their nature, sharing an identical source.

How individuals chose to handle the information is over to them, but they should be aware that there is a direct correlation between each successful style ... how can there not be!

A successful scalper will understand and appreciate a successful position Trader and the reverse is also true.
The problem arises when hopeful (currently unsuccessful) meets successful.
One can identify the other, but the reverse sadly is seldom true.... hence the confusion.

Where are I going with this posting.

It is the logic, the ability to grasp the reality of ES (irrespective of bar style and space) that forms the basis of trading.
The trades are merely the output of the thought process, ranging from logical to woolly.

If someone says he/she is a real Trader then terrific.
If they say they are done for the day, or have left stops in the market while they do something else, then that is just fine.
It is their time to spend, not mine.

It is the logic behind the posting that captures my interest because we all start off trading seemingly miles apart whilst we are gazing at the very same information.

As gazing develops into reading and assumption develops into logic, we become drawn closer and closer together.
Never necessarily the same due to the human X factor, but forever appreciating the other successful guy`s struggle.

regards
