Seems like it depends how you configure the number of post per page :D

Exactly. My point was that it is easier to look it up in the FAQ. It is in the FAQ. How do I know it?

Because I put it there... :)

so you are saying when a eco number is coming out, you utilize patience and discipline and wait for a 10 point move to fade, regardless what the previous low for the night was, just as long as it was 10 points from a previous reaction low ?
Exactly. I saw the intensity of the move after the number came out and it was apparent there was a bit more upside left. Why not wait for it to get exhausted first to play it more safe?

Number 2 rule of futures trading is to never step in front of an eco number. It is almost always better to wait like a cat on the sidelines to pounce on the reaction move.

I only trade what I see. If this bases off of 10 here then we are moving up for what I think will be a decent short entry and a high for the week. There is a correlation setting up that also make this more probable.

sorry this post was wrong, we based off of 09.25

vol i think that's evident in the t for total in tlnw,100k is max 2k risk on total position vs. acct

So stocks, futures and option and other fluctuating assets are included ? How can you assign 2% risk as a stop when that total is fluctuating ? That would mean your stop fluctuates as well.

I'm sure B1 must use some discretion with the application of his rule, much as you do with the application of this rule of 10. By the way, last reaction low RTH was 1401.50. Add 10. 1411.50. A 3 point stop would have been 1414.50. I gather this is an example of the rule of 10 not working?
