Tom, this is another thing I find interesting about histo, you can try & check out how it performs on various time frames as a signal of the end of 1 cycle & beginning of another one or continuation.

I've circled that 1 bar of histo that went below centreline yet the following one closed above centreline, also note that histo performance prior to the circle (and MACD) are predominantly below centreline ie bearish. Basically paying attention to 1 bar either below or above followed by next concecutive bar closing opposite side of centreline. Let me know your findings
