I don't understand the intraday shorting.

A strong move, such as a gap up, plus mid-day consolidation tends to produce afternoon continuation.

No positions in ES, since I am having a hard time finding a sensible place to get long intraday before 2:15. Longer term, the trend for the moment remains down.

we rallied from 1255-60 to 1310 15 in less than 24 hrs, overbought,short for pullback

OT a bit but I see a very favorable trade on Bear.

Ask 8.45

I sold 2 @ 8.20

Protection to 1.80 and 18.20.

Yes this is coming from someone who already took almost a 20k hit on Bear.
