Quote from romik:

what do you think?

I think we can not predict the market - but I have a feeling that there will no rally today - I mean to offset todays open - everything is so slow ..... and I don´t know where the bulls are - maybe in the weekend:D

i've seen incredible rallies @ 3-3.30pm after a very slow session, it might sound stupid, but you could compare trading to fishing

EDIT: have a look @ 5,10,15,30 and 60 TFs, see anything worth looking @?

I think 60 minutes there seems to be a 60 minutes BLD.

but without confirming RSI. :D

... and we are still near the low of the day...:(

I think its crazy - nobody would like to move the close up or below the low of the day

where are the pros - already on the yacht - dressed as skipper drinking the champagne???

Would the pros want to be long with Israel amassing troops for a ground invasion in Lebanon?

To me the trend stayed short for the day although I was unsure 1030 to 1200

I have attached a chart with trend lies and some tradable channels. I trade the channels when clear in the direction of the main prevailing trend.

Have a good weekend

Today did not pan out quite the way that I projected. We're still in good shape here with the short positions in the longterm account as well as short call premium working for us today. Actually had a slight increase in net liquidating value today, but of course, it would have been much better without the long trades. Longs were closed MOC and will look to reenter Sunday Night and add on dips.

Just wanted to post this here, this is response from NT staff regarding RSI algorithm accuracy from different sources. That's why I am more in favour of A class, as it should be present on most systems.

"RSI

You answered your own question. Different sources. Different sources provide different data and therefore result in variations of indicator values. If you compare a stochastic on eSignal vs TradeStation on a 1 min chart of the same market, you will see differences.

Different data sources vary in how much tick data you get. IB for example only sends out updates 7/10 per second where Zen-Fire sends out as much as 200 per second. Broker data feed sources do not time stamp their tick data and therefore NT has to time stamp it as the ticks come in. If there is latency or your PC clock is off the bar to bar closures may have slightly different prices."
