i'm shocked by just how many people want to buy this dip.............sure i think we're due for a 'bounce' but the consensus is too scary...............maybe its just indicative of the massive levels of liquidity still out there.........

anyway a bear market gets inaugurated when s&p cash closes below 1260 and dow below 11360

the bear market hasn't even begun yet.....meaning we've yet to see capitulation......

good luck to all

Long 1259.75 off 2, stop below LOD (changed to Monday's)

I see Asia had another major sell-off, looks like I have a limited chance on this trade

C'MON!!!!

I see it Tom, obviously banking on it, just need it to get to 1264

As long as it puts in 2nd sharp angled MACD on 1 I ought to be OK

I must admit I don't really like this one, it feels like it's about to go through support

I decided to settle for -1.75 as I assume volume is thin now and I just don't like it, it may still bounce or it may just crash through my stop, always a next time, Adios for now!

Looks like it was a prudent thing to do, anyway market starts to look very vulnerable, Europe will be opening soon and they will most likely nose dive from the word Go

Anyway, all the best to anyone trading today, it may be a tough day.

The possible divergence on the 1-min chart may help you out. Another drive down may put price through your stop, otherwise you could be good.... hopefully.

critical point right here for ya... looking good :)

I know what you mean. Usually starts to bounce prior to the MACD closure at least a little... this is also past its 3rd "bump" so theres def some resistance

Not a second too soon!... way to use your discretion.

ES is limit down. I haven't been trading the eminis long enough to have seen this. Here is the link for info: http://www.cme.com/trading/files/PriceLimitFAQ.pdf

If I understand this right and the ES stays where it is right now, at 9:30EST the 5% limit is removed and the new limit is 10%. With the given state of the market right now will people be stacking up to go short and we could hit the 10% limit shortly after the open?

:)

stick to risk parameters in your swings, all orders must contain a stop... since networks will go down.

I have a few words I want to say about Bernanke, but will refrain....

I odds are stacked against the little guy, and he does nothing to help the ill prepared american citizen out..

Joe Six-Pack spoon fed, since elementary school, ill prepared to compete in the global marketplace...
