I hope so Romik...I just went long 5 @ 1255.25

Wish us luck..

good luck Monaco, I am set here with an average of 1253.50. Charts and indicators are looking pretty good, I would say so anyway, for a nice run tomorrow or perhaps Monday/Tuesday (I've got a gut feeling of tomorrow)

Best to all longs

We have Durable Goods tomorrow which can move
markets...got to keep this in the back of the mind...

It almost seems the markets know these numbers in
advance, and are in/out so suit it's needs...

The basis of my earlier question about the effect
of news on the market was answered in this fashion.

With the exception of FOMC action, I would (and they)
rank Durable Goods number as up there in importance...

Random thought....

Forgive me of this has been mentioned before...

I signed up for the free trial to and listened to the live commentary and audio of the Mini S&P Pits...

No spam here....But I have found it useful on occasion and
extremely facinating to listen to...

U'll love it even more when you get used to what he is saying. There are a lot of information in there. I cant live without it. But like Ben said, is priceless for some and worthless for others.

well, they are mainly quoting and it worked wonders for S&P pit traded contracts that had no volume quotes, though for a e-mini trader I couldn't find an edge by listening in, yes of course, occasionally there would be some good info on a rumor or 20 yellow jackets coming onto the pit floor, etc...but overall I found it not worthless, but unusable.

Let's see...my favorite remarks are:

"Paper to Sell"

"Merrill Sells"

"Here comes Morgan"

"Local are stuck big time here guys"

"Locals are trying to push this lower"

"One of my "top-ten'ers" is on the phone"

"200 cars at the even"

"They are arguing on the floor about a low print"

"We aaaarrre c-looossssed"

Gotta love it....

Top teners are never on the phone. He is the biggest local in the pit. Most of the time he is probably referring to the brother of the legnedary S&P trader who made a fortune in the 87 crash. I guess you know who he is talking about.

Oh, by the way, did u listen to his Q&A session? I learned a lot from his perspctive on the floor.

it looks like we did see temporary bottom today, notice how ES bounced off 1251 levels twice today, perhaps this is the indication that daily BLD is ripe right now.

nice call so far on that 1251.00 bottom. It was interesting today that the bottom was hit right at the same time there was a triple BLD on the 5 minute histogram.

I agree with you. The opening was the low. I got out of my shorts for a scratch.

I get the distinct impression the President is
visiting the Merc today...soon, this I what am hearing from
the squawk guys...

Maybe they will run it for him...

We shall see...
