I took a look at the vid

Seems like the guy is using fibs and analysis of support and resistance. This is very basic stuff that anyone could learn on their own for free. I don't see any "scam" at all.

Can comment on the claim that the setup is 70% successful because I don't keep that kind of data, so the rest is up to the viewer. Of course if you are just piggybacking his trades without doing your own homework, you kinda deserve what you get, don't you?

Happy New Year Everybody.

Hey fucktard...why don't you read this thread before spoutin off like an idiot. You'll see the skills Apex has and you won't come to the conclusion you've assumed unless you're critical thinking faculties have left you with this mornings flush.

john,

a high percentage of the people do loose in futures, the reason being, that when the average person wishes to make a decision upon looking at a chart, usually the decision is biased.

it could be argued a random decision on the directional bias would be more fruitful then a decision made by a average person.

the price waves are large enough that they incur, a large percentage equity loss on most funded accounts.

also the factor, mismanaged position sizing kills most accounts. Lot of people who approach financial markets treat it in the form of lotto mentality. They seek to hit life changing homeruns, instead of looking to make a living.

from what I have seen of Apex on these forums, his level of understanding of price action is high enough that he can extract money on a routine basis.

his most unique abilities are the entries and small stop losses. He is not right every time, and noone is. But he is right more often then not.

the love of the markets will lead people to engage in activities of education or entertainment. And thats all it is.

Where the hell do people like you get this #? People think that 99% of people lose in futures because....people think that 99% of people lose in futures. Say it enough and its true.

Total bullshit. Trading ES is just as easy as trading most stocks, imo easier as it usually trends several times per day.

The problem lies with leverage which most people abuse to a ridiculous degree, added to the fact that most people here don't know what they are doing period.

hey dudes,

i'll weigh in on this matter. apex is a good trader, but no one is 100% and no one's word should be taken as gospel. the fact that he's (only) 25 should not be a reason to think he doesn't know anything about trading.

with regard to the assertion that most people lose on futures, i would say that's probably true. but you have to consider that ANYONE can open a brokerage account and call himself a trader. and some of those who do, know nothing about markets or trading, simply shouldn't be doing it without some more education. et is a good source of info and seeing how others do it, some successfully, some not so.

with regard to futures trading being as easy as stocks, i would strongly disagree. imo, stocks are infinitely easier and more forgiving. don't know why, but it certainly seems that way to me. stocks are easier to predict, easier to follow, easier to trade successfully. futures are a challenge. some would say a challenge worth mastering because of tax advantages and leverage, the latter of which is not an advantage in my book (too much danger of blowing out the account and too much temptation to overleverage).

with regard to apex in particular trying to drum up a following so he can make you pay, i'd say it's possible. but until he actually starts to charge, i would give him the benefit of the doubt. if he starts charging, you have my permission to say i told you so.
