...915am neg divergence on 15 min chart...... could be undone with another push up.....

no divergence. --getting long when the 2 minute chart gives a bullish divergence. --Bypassing shorts.

I will not be around on ET today when I take the long signal, so I won't post it and take credit for it should it happen. Good trading to all!:)

for people who like 'tails' on the 60 minute chart. October is right around the corner, the bull is intact, but the initial naive buying after FED cut will be washed out before we progress higher.

there is a divergence look at the 60 minute tails.

equity?...

equity based on the degree of inflation in monetary policy can move higher, but as these other markets continue those trends, the degree or slope in equities will be curtailed.

Gap analysis is unnecessary in trading and should be discarded. :)

Sure you haven't heard of Pekelo's 2nd gap rule* (check the thread titled the same) with its 90% probability.

We had such a 2nd upgap yesterday and playing the shorts sure paid off, and the gap closed AH, just like the rule says it should on the same day... :)

* Consecutive same direction 2nd gaps tend to close on the same day

.... here is what i am looking at....
....looks like that double bottom... could have been the false downside break out of the bull flag formed after the initial bullish divergence....
... chart... bull signal is green.... neg signal is pink
.....i am no expert by the way.... :0)

elovemer,
can you post a chart of divergence you see?

Quote from Buy1Sell2:

When I say longs are the order of the day right now, it doesn't necessarily mean to go long right now, rather it means look for fresh long signals or stay on the sidelines. If that means missing a shorting opportunity, then so be it. As you know, I am not interested in 2 and 3 point gains, but I am interested in trying to nail down the big winner with full position on. :)

Buy1Sell2,

I don't ever remember you calling out a trade in real time with a specific premise and the reasoning behind your trade. You seem to speak in generalities and from my experience trading is much more specific. How’s about some specificity?
