Maybe you can answer this question I have. I didn't want to run an experiment to find the answer. If the market is 1547.25 bid 1547.50 offer and you enter an order to sell at 1545.25, won't you get filled at the market? ie 1547.25, an d not at the lower price that you entered?

That's a market order -- you'll get filled at 47.25.

They are having trouble taking it lower. Most likely take it higher to run more stops.

If entered as a LIMIT order, yes it will turn into a market order.

If entered as a SELL STOP order, it will not trigger till your price is hit. I enter the majority of my trades w/ buy/sell stop limits.

"They" haven't been very impressive doing either one so far, have "they"?

Maybe it's time to call in the first string?

What happened to wild options Wednesday? Where did the "oomph" go?

I just knew it! All the excitement is going to happen tomorrow when I'm aloft and incommunicado. Rats.
