Man, you know I'm pretty much in agreement with you most of the time. But I'm gonna lean bearish on this one.

It ain't that SPX cannot go up to 5734. But will she continue to go higher afterward. My belief is that she won't even go up that much in the first place but, even if she did, she'll likely backtrack.

Why? Because I think this is the start of the bear market and a precursor to a full-blown recession within the next 6 months.

Ah let it go... He's not the first and certainly won't be the last.

Anyway, let's just sit tight and find out where this market wants to go. I plan to go long at the open tomorrow and hold until the FOMC, then go short afterward. That's the plan for now.

So hold your tongue for now and we'll pick up our exchange again then. :)

He has "multiple brokerage accounts" and "multiple internet accounts" ... but you know what else he has? Multiple ET accounts. I just forget which yoyo he was as of late, but his style of writing is unmistakably unique.This is not his first ET rodeo, he's been banned before.

Back to the indexes, I agree, .25 is priced in, but this market sure looks like it wants to go up some more. Tbh, I too will be surprised if 5734 hits. Where I got that number, I have no idea. It was a Stoney thing.

You're more than likely offending some folks with this flagrant, misogynistic old school use of the feminine when describing things. I turned off a WW2 war movie with Clark Gable this weekend because he constantly referred to the sub as "she."
