EMA's work well in a high fear environment.

I've been trading since the open and up all night. Calling it a day and I'm calling off from work to go get some much needed rest.

Traded NQ only, one contract at a time, small scalps for an average of +30 to +50 points. Used a $300 stop and a couple of moving averages to keep me right sided.

Good luck today. What a dose of fresh air this has been.

Made about $1000 per hour since 6 PM last night. If I were built differently and able to hold for the big legs I'd have made enough to pay off my house.

I just realized that I paid about $150 in commissions.

I've paid that much in one day in the past. This is the first time I paid that much and finished with a big profit instead of a big loss.

I didn't see your post before I posted. I started using a couple of moving averages back in June when the market was making new highs and leaving all reference pivots behind. I don't usually use anything but price bars. But you are right. When the market gets volatile like this a long moving average and a short moving averages sure help to keep me from buying dips that keep dipping or selling rips that keep ripping.

There is the 200 EMA Bounce. No overshoot. I am not seeing the smack down and test yet. Waiting for the 200 SMA. Not seeing the big blocks either.

Still Flat. Probably just going to sit it out.

I got one swing trade hold, in the green, lol, ALAB.
