All I know is I'll be flat as a pancake on the actual release. Last month's NFP was a 20 point candle in less than 30 seconds.
If I wasn't in drawdown trying to pick a bottom and taking late shorts already, maybe I'd take my chances, but I'll sit this one out until post-release.
Wouldn't surprise me the slightest if NFP is the kick we need to get this moving higher.

Market indication, momentum is to the downside. At any given moment there is a parent algo driving the market with unlimited reserves. Till that algo shifts or see momentum drying out, don’t fight it.
I'm feeling we see ES around 5371.50 before we get a rally attempt. That was the high of the 5/31 outside up day that kicked off the leg that just ended in July.
The NQ has already fallen below its 5/31 high. The 5/31 low for NQ was 18502.
I feel ES around 5375 and NQ 18500 would be nice round targets. I also feel since NQ is already below the high of the day that ignited the last up leg that a new rally leg could start anytime. I do feel it won't start until we see one or both of ES and NQ reach close to those lower levels. But it could.

Yes. That's one hell of a move. Longed 81 with super small size (1 micro). Adds will come later if at all.

Market sentiment is driven by price action. If price action craters market, the covering VWAP is much better. So there is an incentive to kill to fear.
Both came into prime buying territory in my opinion. I have a buy limit NQ at 18502. I'll may catch lightning in a bottle or lose a quick $600. Or I may have missed the low of day.
