There's nothing silly or naive about the idea of trading for a living.
You just need to accumulate a large enough stake. And that's of course way easier if you don't need to take $2000 every month for expenses from a $20000 trading account.
Yes. In the past I've been short on skills and short on cash. Now I may have the skills, but still short on cash. I think that for long term success the key is to have enough capital where you can replace your alternative source of income, i.e., day job, with a fairly conservative return.
I've had a few good days lately, but I can't expect that to be the norm. For all I know it can be a lucky run.
So, will just keep plugging away with low expectations and see where it goes.
