ES Journal - 2023/2024

Charts looking kind of heavy at the moment, but my bet is we'll see at least 5600 today in RTH.

I may very well be wrong. Maybe we'll dip a bit lower first.
i'm assuming the tide has turned up a bit too. Still prefer longs on dips I think

I think 5520 ish would be a great long, but I don't think we get close to that, really. Not sure we'll go that much lower than where we are now really!

still flat here though

Trying the long here at 62. 4 point stop.
nice!
i got back in long but at a much worse price
I even tried the old @Laissez Faire 'add to winner' just for fun.
Feels like i'm adding at the worst point but we'll see! lol

Lock in 10 points here at 72.

Was considering taking profits here at 76 and getting back in on a pullback, but those decisions are always tricky. Ultimately, I think we hit 5600 or more, but, the path there is the unpredictable part.

You're on a roll!

How many hours are you trading now? It seems like you're trading all European, US and US-after-hours sessions :wtf:

Added a bit at 78. Stop on entire position at 72.

It's been a lot lately. LOL. I will take a position during the Asia session before I go to bed if I see something I like. Then I'm pretty much monitoring the market from I wake up to I'm flat (depending on when that happens). Yesterday I engaged with the market from the electronic close all the way to the RTH Close, so it was a very long session.

Still low trading frequency. Most of the time I'm just trying to get in a position (like today's entry) and I will just watch the market from my cell phone and make adjustments if needed.

My trading hours were more limited when I used to scalp or take shorter targets, but it seems like if one wants to take those larger moves one may need to be around more.

How about yourself, @Picaso?

Maybe we can go as high as 5620 today. Overall expecting just some consolidation above/around yesterday's highs. That 5600 touch is what I'm eyeing for now.

Economic # in 95 minutes. May go flat by then or just gamble that we'll get the push higher on those.
