Why the rebound?

Because the initial dip was based on pretty much nothing, the market panicked by hearing Israel attacked Iran while in reality it was nothing significant.

Definitely possible, however I doubt it if the situation in Israel doesn't escalate any further. If there is another and stronger attack we can go much lower.

if this were happening in ny session, i bet cnbc will be crying, funds would be panic selling, 1000 points drop in dow.

Since the market has already fallen in the overnight session, I'm thinking they have no incentive to hold it up should it fall.

Hard to say, day is volatile and Friday afternoon is when weird shit happen, could see flush both way, then close at low of Index, and high for Gold I think.
