ES Journal - 2023/2024

I know someone who was like that too. I say "was" as the final result was that he went broke and lost $10MM in just one open position ES.
First he started to average down his price. After that he received several margin calls. So he added new margin... till all margin was gone and the broker closed his position. At that moment the size of his position was 2,100 contracts ES ( in fact it was 210 contracts, but the jumbo ones at $500 a point, so 10 times the size of ES).

There are limits to the positive impact of hard-headedness.

I understand that Buy1Sell2 is well aware of thet risk and has limited positions.
We've met in real life? :wtf:

And this year----

Range bound over the last 10 months after the initial drop from all time highs.

You think we'll break above 4200 this time and don't look back? I'm not so sure...

The market's shown what appears to be tremendous strength on all prior rallies only to run out of momentum and reverse back in range.

What makes you convinced of that?

The same was said multiple times last year as well...

Technically it looks bullish now, a bottom has been carved in for 2023 at least. AI stocks were trading at substantial discounts considering fundamentals and we all know what happens when these type of stocks are cheap, they get scooped up, whilst the index can be 'puzzling' and MSM gurus tell us we are going down more. Stock market usually turns at point of greatest fear as we know and the greater the deviation from ATH, the more the discount is on offer. I believe that AI is the next huge investment opportunity and you have to be a visionary when you invest, not a pessimist :)
