Think of it this way. The "smart money" wants to pump up the price but they need to shake out the weak hands first. Hence the dump and pump.

Think of it this way. The "smart money" wants to pump up the price but they need to shake out the weak hands first. Hence the dump and pump.

I don't think its ever that conspiratorial. The open just had low interest in both demand and supply, so the drop was the result. We reach an extreme, algo's come in to buy. Demand perks up, and b/c we had low selling interest today, we blow through the levels back up relatively easily.

Who knows though. I'm just a piker.
