Am I the only one without an algo?

Maybe. But probably not.

The progression is
1) read charts
2) create "indicators" that distill the chart reading.
3) create "algos" that distill the indicators that are reading the charts.

Then read the charts, the indicators, and the Algo, and trade.

Not all algos are full meal deals. IMO, those "full meal deal" algos only work on certain types of trading strategies. "Algo" is such a catch all, it is like saying "food" or "meal". It is a big universe and if you don't at least know the major types and target usages, then you are behind about 10 years at least.

Vix is falling quite steeply now.

Sorry, VIX is at a low, the market would crack anytime. The risk/reward is not here.

Hmm. As far as I know, VIX spikes in a bear market and falls in a bull market.

9-10 trading days of going nowhere, tomorrow hopefully we break out, that's my expectation, everything seems to be pointing that way, sorry Ken.
Edit: going long crypto today.

To me, that is what a bull flag basicaly is----indecision prior to a breakout in the same direction as the trend prior to the bull flag.
