ES Journal - 2023/2024

A number of prominent financial experts at Bank of America, Barclays and other major firms are confident that the U.S. will avert a global market meltdown by continuing to pay its bondholders if the Treasury Department crosses the threshold where it can’t cover all its other bills. They think the U.S. can do so by withholding funds for things like benefits owed to individual Americans or payments to firms doing business with the government.
So the government will need to resort to screwing the elderlies from their social security benefits to pay off their debt. Great! I just love this country more than ever, now!

I'm still bullish here, though. I don't see us selling off today.

Well, we sold off. :)

But that's kinda expected once you touch the trendline, which we did on Friday. And I'm guessing we will get another day of selloff tomorrow down to 3982.

Done: 41 RT -1301 Had -2600 in a reversal whip saw. Probably going to disable that for Feb.

Oh and NEVER run two instances of MC on two brokers with the same strat. They collide in several ways in MC. Not really sure if I will debug it.... :p

Well, we sold off. :)

Sold off? Nah. Just a weak trend lower not going further than 15 points below the current LOD at the time. Of course a wortwhile intraday short was on the table.:)

I'm just happy I was able to contain and accept today's losses and not dig myself deeper into a hole when I was wrong. Progress!

4036,25 = last week's mid-point

4035,00 = week before last week's high

4029,50 = last week's POC.

Could be random, but today's LOD = last week's POC. Could mark out a LOW, but I'm not predicting anything at this point. Let's see where she goes by tomorrow.

If this is live money - why not do it with MES instead? Seems like a costly way to be learning.

Sometimes the obvious eludes me lol... , what's POC mean again?

Thanks for the consideration. MES does not have the same inputs as ES for the system. So it is a no go. Although the dollar amount may seem large, the system amount is small. It is really not an issue.
