Big 5 Sporting Goods Expects to Report Lower Earnings in Fiscal Q4; Shares Decline in Pre-Market

06:45 AM EST, 01/18/2023 (MT Newswires) -- Big 5 Sporting Goods(BGFV) said late Tuesday preliminary data show fiscal Q4 earnings per diluted share in the range of $0.07 to $0.08, compared with the company's previous guidance of $0.08 to $0.20.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.13 normalized.
Q4 net sales fell to $238.3 million from $273.4 million a year ago, according to a statement from the company.
Same store sales dropped 13.2% in Q4 year over year.
