I don't mind a diversity in opinions and enjoy reading various comments here, but condescending comments and threats of using the ignore function just because of a question/remark isn't something I appreciate.
Keep bragging. It's all good to me.
Sunny can brag as well if he ever sticks his neck out and get it right. So far I haven’t seen it.
There's a lot of smoke and mirrors on EliteTrader, though. The truth is I have no idea about the performance of any of the posters on ET. There's a few I suspect may be doing really well, but at the end of the day I really don't know.
Personally, I have no desire to pretend or try to be a guru, so if anyone asks me about my performance I’ll give you an honest reply. Yesterday was a big losing day for me.
However, if I wanted to, like so many others, I could have kept my postings vague and pretended to be a big winner every single day. I have myself had long winning streaks and then given back a lot of profits on one or two bad days. So, I know how difficult this is.
I would easily have paid $1K if that gave me the full P&L history for every member on ET. I’m sure that would be very interesting.
I can think of many other amazing ways to get rid of $1k, what’s the benefit? Curiosity? Some say it killed a cat
I doubt that you come here for entry and exit signals. In my previous lives on ET, I used to get involved in all sorts of heated debates, but that’s such a time drain, you’re better off just ignoring ppl you don’t find beneficial to your trading.
I mostly swing trade nowadays, so I pay attention to some posters on ET, you included, when they see technical and fundamental reasons for the market heading in the opposite direction of my trade. If I see confluence of contrarian views posted, I start to get concerned
