How would you describe what triggers a buy or sell to enter a trade? If it’s not broken… don’t fix it!

If you look back through all the recent bear markets, you would clearly notice that NDX had the worst performance. So it wouldn't surprise me if it lags behind other indices going forward. But it'll catch up...eventually.$NDX although highest close in two weeks still in pesky range:-
Would it surprise at all to know that back last year @ the June 16 lows $SPX made a lower low the next day before moving higher while $NDX didn't need to?If you look back through all the recent bear markets, you would clearly notice that NDX had the worst performance. I was referring to the entire bear market, not just any single day's move. NDX is just more volatile, hence it drops more in a bear market than its peers and rises more in a bull market. And since we're in a bear market, it's only natural that it would underperform DJIA and SPX.Would it surprise at all to know that back last year @ the June 16 lows $SPX made a lower low the next day before moving higher while $NDX didn't need to?

BTW she crossed the Rubicon. She ain't coming back. I say we get another booster on Monday, a repeat of Friday. If we were to open and go straight up without reversing, the target would be 4045. Most of that will come from institutional short covering.

Thought I'd ask, ya never know.Thats a whole different discussion …
Actually if you see it as breakout out of a TRIANGLE, then your perspective might change.Looks like the market is stuck inside this range,
Wouldn’t be surprised to see a reversal on Monday.
