Looking at the PA today and seeing all the short calls im just SMH...
Do people even look at charts or is it all dart tossing these days?
They have been conditioned over the past 13 months to sell the rip. Any chart will bear out that evidence, as they have visions of that 2022 chart swimming in their heads. Can't blame 'em.
Im talking about todays action only. You short rips in a downtrend or fading the high end of a range.
Only thing i see today is a 45° ending in the upper right.
You must keep missing those days where peaks sometimes happen midday, or multiple times per day and then fall off in final hours. Like, umm, yesterday? What you see is what you see now. Did you see it going 45 degrees to the upper right at 9:35 AM EST?
I don't have my computer in front of me to see if i had a signal at 935 but i can check later.
Irregardless - you didn't have to get long at 935 to make money. The damn thing went up clear into the close. You had all day to get long. No idea why people were trying to get short in here on an intra-day basis. Calling tops doesnt pay (unless you are the smart money taking the other side).
Like I said...Maybe these people had visions of STR in their heads from yesterday when it worked. Today it did not. Everything is easy with Mad Dog 20/20.
Just eyeballing this, that looks like about a 50% retracement.
I think its about 4-5 points over the 0.618 retracement.
