ES Journal - 2021/2022

Since April 2021, decided after Jan. 2021 debacle only to get here and a left president elected here. The whole world is going nuts.
Well, my thinking has always been that, if it's not gonna get any better, you might as well flip and reverse. Both in trading and in life. :D

Bulls and bears are struggling to decide whether this year should end in a technical bear market or not. Next two weeks are low liquidity anyway.

This feels more like a bull market pullback to me.
An 12 month pullback so far?

Bear market is, by definition, not orderly. This feels more like a bull market pullback to me. Anyway, it went as planned, so I ain't complaining.

It certainly feels like a bear market when the statisticians say that the markets are on track to post worst yearly loss since 2008.

The recession is seemingly coming for 2023 because Powell is starting to smell like that other dude, who basically said "IDGAF" and raised way beyond what was needed to stop inflation.

The SMART move would now be to pause hikes, and let the hikes filter through the economy and see the effects of them.
