The time to go short was on the close, to either cover once Globex re-opened or 1) decide whether to hold if it is a gap and run or 2) ride out the almost inevitable gap close.

"Shorting into the hole" is a losing play more often than not.

Then you let it go or enter on the next retrace. Gap and go are rare on Globex, IMO.

True, gap and go on globex are rare and most of the times when they happen are Sunday night re-openings.

I think they will push this market up overnight, then sell it off following NFP. Just a hunch.
