ES Journal - 2021/2022

I've traded the ETH session a bit this week as well. Realistically, I don't have time as it interfers with my dayjob, but the action is a bit calmer and easier to trade, IMO.

I decided to take one last trade this week as per my short thesis targeting 3740. Late entry, but I knew the potential was there.

I was 100 % sure I had placed my trailing stop at 49, but I had moved it down to 48 and that was the high tick of that move. I hate it when that happens... :)

Taking an early weekend here as I have some other stuff to attend to. Result for the end of the week was - 10.00 ES points, so I managed to salvage some of that loss on Tuesday.

Trading wise, the June lows are very close now.

Okay, I did another one, but NOW i'm done. :)

A scratch week. Tuesday's loss threw me out of balance for sure and I'm still having irrational feelings of wanting to make back that loss. Might take a few days off to get it out of my system.

The trends in ETH seems generally much smoother.

3700 or even lower seems very much possible today, but let's see if the BTFD crowd shows up on the Open. They've been absent so far.

Next week could be a biggie to the downside. I suppose it's all contigent on the FOMC come Wednesday.

3900 have been a good supply zone, but it broke by end of last week. I'm mainly looking to see if we can have a test and rejection of that zone or trade back above that level.

If 3900 fails and we have a down week next week, too, I don't see why we can't visit the June lows by end of next week.

Open gaps below: 3790; 3674.

Good foresight. Terrible trading.

Looks like we have a good shot at filling that last gap below at 3674 as soon as today.

Off topic, picked up another 500 shares of TQQQ, instead of trading NQ this year.

Lost 36k in NQ YTD, all in Q1, maybe I shall get back in next year.
