Higher time frames and the daily looks very heavy, though. But they might not make it easy.

Well, I don't think anybody anticipated that it would get its ass kicked all the way to the bottom.

The only thing I can say is that I can easily see that happen.

I don't hold a strong view/opinion right now. But if someone held a gun to my head I would say lower. Been saying down since Sunday. Just not done a good job trading it.

That sucks, dude. I find this volatility hard to trade. Maybe I'm not adapting properly.

It's particularly hard to view the market rally to the HOD and still maintain the view/flexibility to allow you to reverse short at the HOD.

At that point, all my mind can read is UP.

It might have helped. It's also possible my silly brain would have been thinking breakout.

I try my best to stay flexible and loose, but it still happens that I get locked down with a certain view and start imposing my wishes and desires on the market instead of seeing it like it is and acting/trading accordingly.

Today, my wish, desire and determination was a breakout of the HOD and a rally above that. The market had other ideas...

Fading/shorting the top of a range when that move is preceded with momentum is one of the hardest trades for me to take. I find it much easier to fade a move to the downside.
