Drip drip...

Scalpers must be having the time of their life. A world of pain for intraday swing traders... :)

Nice! How much in total? Are you generally more of a scalper?

I've lost count of how many unrealized 5 + point trades I had today stopping out for B/E, so I'm sure it would have been a better day if I were better at taking profits.

Interesting.

Yesterday was a bigger move down as well, so a bit of consolidation isn't odd.

I was expecting more down side momentum if we were headed lower today, so that's what's making me lean long for the next major move. But I'm long, so we'll probably tank.

think about it. Many algos use premarket data to create trading decisions. If a premarket pullback has a wide range and fails, there’s going to be lots of buy orders at lows and sell orders at blow off tops with the expectation of that type of Pa continuing

Makes sense.

I thought that was what I was sharing most of the time, i.e., my view of the market, where I think we're headed and what I'm looking for short-term.

A real time trade with entries and exits does not contain anything of value if you don't understand why the trader entered where he did and why he exited where he did. It sure as hell can be entertaining to see someone who's killing it nailing every up and down, but how does that transfer to trading knowledge for anyone else?

I'm not sure one could or should expect that. This is simply the office equivalent of water cooler talk. Nothing serious.

I just started posting a few screenshots to show I was actually trading as well, but I do agree that they're useless and could easily be manipulated as well. So, zero value. I did post that $2.1K losing day, though. Most on ET won't do that as everyone is a daily winner on ET.
It was meant as a general statement (applied to everyone). I wasn't singling you out. You're doing just fine. :)
