370 points to drop still for the remainder of the day? So Specific.
I would have assumed the bulk of the drop already happened by 11'ish, and the rest of the day will hover around flat'ish from that point onward,

The only problem I see with this is that you did have a very large move in your pocket. It's not like you had 10 points of unrealized gains. Surely there must be a sweet point between trailing a stop too tight and giving it all back?

You know like you sometimes post I took 10 off the table, I knew it would go another 10, this is what I go for, I just don’t take it off the table, rightly or wrongly, that’s just how I do it, and sometimes I give a lot of it back, and on other occasions I am given what I am after. I am not saying it is a perfect system, none exist, it’s just a method that I like, it suits me.
Wow. Looks like that record decline for 2022 can be exceeded today.

Kudos to those who shorted this and rode it all the way. It's maddening to think that I was short around the Open today.
And my sympathies with those who gave back losses on their longs today.
I don't think many would have predicted this outcome after yesterday's close.
In hindsight, everyone knew an important number was coming up, though. But I suppose most didn't predict the impact would be this big.

Just proves the point that it is all about risk management and all that it entails. Some lost today, hopefully a little, and others won today, hopefully a lot, and some were neither here or there, which is cool, what’s not cool is the ones that lost their shit and lost more than they bargained for. The only thing we are in control of is our money. All else is part skill part luck. God bless all and have a nice evening. Screens off.
