ES Journal - 2021/2022

Ok Malvin...

Seriously, man, this is how valuable your information and advice is. Just go right through Falken's Maze.
Give the guy some slack. He wants to make a point. Only wish he wouldn't say the same crap every time like that drunken energizer bunny...that just keeps going and going and going.

Staying short here based upon my previous chart postings.

This is an interesting take on the future direction of the US stock market, the correlation between stocks and crude is made around 2:00.

MasterPu:

I think we're seeing the market similarly right now. My assumption is rally of June/July lows was significant and the recent decline was just a correction. I started feeling bullish again at the end of last week. If this is the case, rally is going to be big. Interesting video, although Oscar was a little too bearish a couple of days ago.

Oscar's channel is aimed at day traders, so his outlooks are primarily about what to expect next trading session, and admittedly he, being mortal like us, gets it wrong at times. His price targets are longer term though. I do pay attention to some analysts/traders and he is quite solid in forecasting.

No trader should ever have to get "absolutely hosed" from their trades,

If you are leaving yourself open, exposed, unknown and fragile like that....you are doing something wrong in your approach, tactics, understanding, and process,
Your overall trading and success is only as strong as your weakest link -- something to think about,
Trading/gambling is a completely meaningless activity if done poorly and improperly.
Losses are ok, fine and dandy -- but they should be relatively minimal where it doesn't hurt and bother you from an overall picture.

"absolutely hosed"

These are good points

We're a bit overextended here, but my data suggests a good run higher is very much possible on the day, although it's far from a certainty.

Last week's high is 4064, so probably making a run for that if we go higher.

Need to wait for price action to confirm. Some pulling back on the Open would be nice.

Good luck all!
