I have a small long on here now. Market could always do another crazy fast drop like it did today, but they have a lot of shorts trapped here. So, personally done shorting for today. There going to force as many out here as possible.

Thanks, honestly I got lucky today to make decent gains. I missed some information on my Daily chart(that I mentioned earlier) and just stuck to my hard bearish bias without really thinking it through. Context wise I had the incorrect read today, just got saved by the overall underlining macro bearish bias we still have. which allowed my shorts to be profitable, when in 95% of days they would have been losers given the setup.
Did catch that long though nor end of day once I put all the pieces together on what was happening.
I don't know, not claiming to know, just how I speak regarding that. Not trying to put too much emphasis on it. But when certain things fall in place there's a clear setup taking place and I assume(maybe incorrectly) it's the same people, program or players triggering the setup. Like this forced short covering setup here toward end of day.
They to me is whoever or whatever is responsible for creating the debit phase in the markets that drains majority of day traders. Whether that be large money, algo's that market makers run or whatever.
What if most shorts took profits yesterday and is buying/initiating new positions now? How would you know the difference?
Someone's lifting the offers today. That's for certain. But it's not obvious to me that it's necessarily short covering. I mean. It could be...
