The problem with Gap n Grinds is they are difficult to gage entry, RR, ROI... where is your out?
Gap open? Gap close? are you going to really risk 30+ handles on your entry in a slow moving market??

Yeah fair enough. Understand what you're saying completely and its not something I want to get in a habit of doing, which I know means shouldn't do it at all. I just liked it here and I took a long as well because all day we had the same pattern of price action, so waited for one of the dips and took a buy setup I knew on smaller time frame and had a stop below the relative low that the signal came from. Figured if they were sucking up short supply to cover all day that it would continue and if it didn't my stop wasn't that far away, since took entry on smaller time frame.

Plan on shorting tomorrow before 8:30 AM ET, because the CPI print is going to take away all of today's gains.

Oh, and by the way, we face a government shutdown on Friday, because Congress. Game over, the dead-cat is alive.

Man all things being equal, which they're not, but if they were... I'd say we're going up.
At least in the AM. If things drop out of the gate, there will definitely be an upspike.

That was from early Oct. We got the 10% on the Russell, and then some.
These little spikes on any good news in Ukraine are all well and good, but man we are heading for some serious "unheating" of our economy.

I imagine I wasn’t the only Stop up at 95-97.. I’m sure there was a whole slew they tagged up there… Short Stop hunting season is in effect.. Big Tell!!!
I don’t buy into these artificial moves North .. Patience & Observation is key to proper entry
Along with Prudent Risk Management!!
You have to take your losses… proper entry eliminates wide stop outs!
