Need NQ to hold up yesterday's close and ES today's Open here. Looks good so far, but still in a potential sell zone on higher time frames, so better to not get too smug or confident.

Just checked my statistical model for this kind of pattern and it gives a mixed read just like my discretionary read at the moment.
IMO, if higher on the day, we shouldn't drop much below 4490.
But, as it's a mixed read, I don't have a strong opinion either way. If NQ can go green and pick up some momentum, maybe...

I took some longs on some short covering setups. Tough price action to trade particularly on ES. NQ was a little easier and had more of an extended move up.
Currently flat waiting for another setup I see clearly, not really enjoying this action right now, isn't super clear to me.

They are really screwing with shorts right now, particularly on NQ. NQ got within like 20 points of high earlier. Think smart play is to stay away unless you see a setup really clearly. Still at risk for a short covering move here.

Spooz Top 2 mentioned it yesterday. we are right here around the 50pc point of swing high to low. understandable to see this fight. it will break eventually. one way or the other.
