We have broken the neckline slightly also. 2 ways to play----get short or wait for pullback with fresh downside momentum and then get short. As always, the key to successful trading is Prudent Risk Management. Cut losses short, let winners ride to maturity.

Agreed.... I always try & enter off of right shoulder buildout whether it`s a standard H&S or IHS... that`s always proven to me to be the most conservative entry ... many years of observation to anticipate correctly!

You measured left shoulder NL base to head.... I went right shoulder baseline to head... the more conservative of the two.... but yes, either would be viable target or somewhere in between!

Mine would target 4265.

It's very difficult to short a "long only" market like SP/ES

Mine would target 4265.

Cash low in early Oct was 4278.94

 

[Concinnity]

Generally with this type of setup on NQ, very difficult for them to move it up and hold it. For me any fast move up, will be looking for a setup to to re-short it. They seem pretty desperate trying to create liquidity to sell into though, so not even sure I'll get the pop to re-short at this , point, prior to tagging the 15154.50 ish.

Interesting that price and neckline currently reside right at the 100 day SMA.

The only thing that I don't like right now on this H and S is that the right shoulder really hasn't festered and built out too much like the left shoulder did.

Got the pop I wanted, did not trade it well at all. Got a few short scalps.... only very small position held as runner. See if we finally get some follow through here or not. Same plan for me if we get another move up, going to keep looking short.
