I was stopped out on that trade. I clearly state stops with all my trades, as with this current trade.

I feel like we are getting the same now of what we were getting all the way up from the Covid lows. A whole lot of people looking to get short expecting prices to eventually head lower or retest.

They may not be wrong. I sense a little bit of trepidation, now that VIX is below 20 on this CPI news. Gonna' still be wacky for a couple more months, huge swings. Oh geez, and if Trump announces he is running again? More vola!
Overbought right now and I expect some lower prices very soon--- at least a temporary respite. I had the direction wrong on the big move and it was a little outside of my 3 day window----so it was a wrong call.
Only sentiment changed . This isn’t 2000 or 2008 or 2000. We have things happening beyond anyone’s control . We still have bubble housing at highs . Earnings have only had 1 bad qtr . We had a 13 yr Bull and were only down 12 1/2 % from all time highs . Everyone wants the downside over so bad they can taste it . In reality with little earnings growth and rates near 3% the mkts more overvalued than ever . Everyone thinks this is the 2020 playbook right back up . I think this time is different . We shall see .
Not that I have profited from this, but the ‘magnet’ is still there.
