No offense, but you've been around long enough that you should know basic stuff like checking the economic calendar for scheduled news releases...

I trade mostly overnight hours so usually have no clue what happens during the US session
That could prove costly.
One hour prior to the US market open there's at least once per week a potentially major market moving news release scheduled.
I imagine in current volatility the effect of news are pronounced.
still waiting. Soon i'm told (don't try to go long)
